Cable Gands for Mining E1FW and E1FW/F
Application
Single wire armoured cable types.
Dry Indoors
Applicable Standard
BS 6121.
Fitting Instructions
1. Seperate gland into its two component parts and pass item 2 over the cable.
2. Strip back outer sheath and armour to suit equipment geometry.
3. Expose armouring by further stripping outer sheath for a length equivalent to the item 1 knurl plus 5mm.
4. Secure Item 1 into the equipment.
5. Pass cable through item 1, equally spacing armoured wires on knurled cone.
6. Lock armouring by tightening item 2 onto item 1.
Note: Item 1 and Item 2 should not lock face to face.
